In the last week, I met two of them.
One is an engineer who has taken an internship in Sendai, Japan.
We went to the Festival do Japão (Festival of Japan) in Jabaquara and ate Ramen together in Liberdade, where the Japanese descendants have a big community.
The other is a Brazilian around-fourty-years-old entrepreneur who once worked for a subsidiary of a company like "the Japan".
In Tuesday, terça feira, we met up around my office and had a dinner together.
Through these experiences, some ideas got into my mind.
One is that there are some people, who want to support or like Japan.
And another is like that here in Brazil, the range of things is very wide.
Some are very low, and the others very high.
Anyway, because of the multiculturalism of Brazil, I dare to say my choice was not wrong.

これまで、知り合いの方に紹介してもらった人と会う機会を持つことがあった。
先週もそういう経緯で2回も人と会う機会を持った。
1人は仙台の企業で研修に臨んでいたエンジニア。
先週土曜日に日本祭りに一緒に行った帰りにラーメンを一緒に食べ、日本に何か訴えようと意気投合。（ちなみに祭りでは書道展で書かせてもらったのが一番楽しかった。）
もうお一方は、中年ながら様々な国の企業を渡り歩いた起業家の方。今までで一番日本語が流暢な日系ブラジル人。
火曜日に会社の脇で集合し、夕飯を御一緒させていただいた。USP以上の（と言われる）大学があるなんて知らなかったし、ブラジル近現代史に関するレファレンスをもらえてよかった。
そんな中で、思ったことがいくつか。
一つは、日本を知っている人、日本を好いていてくれる人がいること。こんなに距離が遠いにもかかわらず。
もうひとつは、ブラジルはとにかくスケールが大きいということ。本当にピンからキリまで。
とにかく、このブラジルの多様性を見るに、選択は間違っていなかったと言えそうだ。
自分に何ができるか、考えなくてはならない。

ブラジル人のお二方は・・ブルーナと、前の春国でアワード取られた方ですよね☆

返信削除そうそう。Brunaと、もう一人はMárioといって仙台で国際インターンしてた人です。今はCampinasでエンジニアとして働いてるらしいよ。
