The LAST compensating work

Today I worked although it is Saturday.

Yesterday I was reminded about that.

When one of my colleagues told me so, I was very surprised and laughed because I got lost at the moment.

I should say it was very nice watching the World Cup here in Brazil, but totally it played with me.

Putting this aside, I have to keep going from now on.

今日は振り替え出勤。W杯の、である。

忘れもしない、昨日の14時半ごろ、後ろの同僚とポルトガル語翻訳の仕事のお願いをしていたところ「明日仕事やるからOK!」との返事。

"?????"

とっさのことでわからなかった。

"Why are you going to work tomorrow??"

"Ah, because we were a day off with Copa do Mundo, né?"

"?????????????"

その後、気が抜けてしまって少しの間、笑いが止まらなかった。

これで最後ということなので既に過ぎたことであるが、トータルで見てW杯には振り回されたように思う。

まさか、このタイミングで振り替え出勤がくるとは予想だにしなかった。

しっかり覚えてなかった自分が悪いのだけれど。

来週からはしっかり気を取り直していきたい。
